Last Friday was driving through London minding my own business when 2 construstion lorries whizz past me at well over the 30mph limit. Got to the Embankment and there they were still speeding and switching lanes etc etc. and generally driving like complete idiots.
Is it worth writing to their employers or just let it rest?

Why bother r-t? Either you misjudged them, or it was a one-off, or they do it all the time and will soon get pulled or have an accident. Anyway they didn't involve you in one.

This reminds me of a film, starring a fleet of Dodge lorries, driven quite fast and then speeded up.
The film, called "Hell Drivers" also starred Danger Man, James Bond the first, Inspector Clousseau's boss, Mr Hudson, Illya Kuryakin and many more.
Good film, they don't make them like that any more.

Stanley Baker too... I always loathed speeded-up driving sequences though and they put me off it.

Lud, didn't he win the VC in the Zulu wars?

Some time after he was the good Hell Driver I believe. Patrick McGoohan was the bad one before he moved on to 'a government agency' with a surrealist brief operating very oddly from an architect's folly in Wales...

They were probably just doing a qualifying session for a truck racing meeting.
