2002 2.0 HDi - Location of PEF sensor? - flanker
Just wondering if anybody can let me know where the PEF sensor is located on 02 307?? even a website where there is a picture i can look at to give me a better idea!! cheers

its to do with an anti pollution light that keeps occuring, pug dealer told me i need to strip out battery box etc and down that side until you can work around the gear box because thats where the sensor is!! the old PEF sensor i am replacing has somehow filled up with water, just wanted to get a better idea of where to look before i start taking things apart

If you mean the exhaust gas differential pressure sensor [there are others] then that's where it should be - under the battery tray.

To ID it; follow it's 2 hoses away from the FAP. Just be aware that if the FAP is blocked; then starting the engine may well trash your new sensor. These systems must be serviced in a systematic manner.

yeah i think thats the one, it just says pressure sensor on the invoice ive got!! so hopefully thats the one!! okay no worries so if the FAP is blocked what shud i do then?? all the advice is much appreciated screwloose cheers

What you should do is establish why it's blocked. These regenerating filter systems are just too complex to advise on based on dimly-remembered details from previous posts.
