Another piece of German technology which will prove essential for British driving conditions, ie driving to the shops or forming an orderly queue at anything between 50 and 80 mph on the motorway.
Or have I missed something here?

I live not far from the wilds of both Weardale and Northumbria, lovely, challenging winding roads. Do I ever see a Porsche using them, never. Maybe it's because they can't keep up with my Panda 4x4 on the bends!

Well I was thinking of a little road called Mignant (dunno what it means) in N Wales (near Ffestiniog) Porsche and bike country - no Police !

I recommend the military road along Hadrian's wall. A mixture of tricky bends, amazing straights and two dips in the road that send your insides flying up and down. No cameras and the few police are too busy patrolling the adjacent A69. Have still not seen a Porsche on it though, maybe they're afraid of grounding the front of their cars on the dips.

I'm no mechanic, but I didn't need the einbauanleitung for the fussmatten I bought for my Focus - fitting instructions for floor mats.

Long German names have always amused me, then I also think 'allo 'allo is a funny television programme.

Just bought some very sexy German made Touratech kit for my bike trip - Instructions in German. I'll have to wait now until Mrs P sees fit to translate (First of all I'll have to like tell her)
