No experience of these people, but I landed back in Manchester last Sat 24th and used PurpleParking.com Their secure parking was a 15/20 minute drive from T3, but excellent mini bus service, and booking online I paid £45.27 for 25 nights parking. I only booked one week in advance so could presumably have got it cheaper, but was very satisfied with the service.

I used something similar once. Never again though, handing the keys over for someone to drive or park it.
Allegedly in some (hand over the keys) set up, cars were driven through Manchester and parked up in industrial estates
Ever since we just turn up and park ourselves in the regular long stay park.
Keys remain in the pocket. Worth it for peace of mind IMO.

Used PP in London for Heathrow. Never again. Took nearly an hour to get to me with the mini bus, then off to T3 from T1 now crammed in with loads of people who'd been flying for 24 hours e.g. smelly. Dumped us in a huge car park 30 minutes later & waved arm with a "your car is over there" message.
They are the company prefered parking agents but I don't touch them with a barge pole.
Prefer long stay where the keys stay in my pocket!
Also find that a quick internet search comes up with a cheaper or as cheap option. For example Gatwick pre booked short stay, always mid-stay over 36 hours at STansted.

I fly from Manchester frequently and use Elite Valet Parking (www.elitevaletparking.co.uk ) and they are very good. Reliable, professional and not too expensive. They are waiting for you when you arrive at the airport to fly off and the car is waiting for you when you come home, despite delays etc. I am paying £35 for a seven day deal next week, which I think is pretty good.
Try them, mention me and you may get some additional discount (or maybe I will!).

already booked with ASP - v. rapid removal of payment, but a lack of confirmation or acknowledgement of emails, which is why may be trying to close the stable door after the equine animal has departed.
Will bear your recommendation in mine in case of crisis !
(n.b. - have used ASP before, but they now seem to be using a completely different m.o., and i'm a bit concerned - pay money to a ompany in Manchester and get an entry on your bank statement for 'paypal san jose')

Yes - My guys either want paypal or cash - but will happily accept cash when you collect the car coming home. So its a bit more comforting!

oilrag, what's this thing about handing over keys? I would never leave my car keys with someone else, and always presumed that you parked your own car (as I did with PP at Manchester) went off on your trip with your keys, then on your return used the company's mini bus service to drop you directly adjacent to your vehicle.
Perish the thought that I would leave my keys with someone unknown....

I've used this company for the last few years - www.securapark.com/
The prices seem good, service is fast and clean. You park the car and take the keys with you.
5 minutes from the airport.

Sorry Legacy, Only just noticed this. There was one company operating near Manchester that took the car away to park, then presented it at the front of the office on your return, keeping the keys.
It may have been one like this that was found to be parking peoples cars on industrial estates and even in residential streets nearby.
It was on TV around 5 years ago.
