Front wipers not working, keep getting stuck in various positions. I know it could be many areas to look at, but is there any common fault known. If it's the wipe motor at faults how much for a new one?
Thanks for reading this....

There is a very common fault - the wiper pivots seize up as they're not designed to get wet. [German engineering at it's finest...]
This usually cooks the motor too. Prices vary tremendously across the Shalraxys for the same linkage and motor, up to £300-odd; so shop around.

Thanks for your message. I did put some WD40 on the linkage joints, but has not really helped. I head for the Ford varsion, motor and linkage around £300.......great.

My Sharen had the same problem, you need to strip down the linkage and pull it off the pivots. Will need two pairs of grips for this. Use plenty of penertrating oil and with a bit of luck it should come off, grease well and then re-assemble. Took me a couple of hours. Don't leave this to long or the motor will burn out. Very expensive. Sparky 100.
