Approximately what discount are you getting compared to normal OTR prices at a main dealer?
Also make sure the car is a UK supplied vehicle. The reason being the 2/3 years of warranty are or at least used to be, funded by the UK dealer network. So you may only get 12 month cover. Check also that you get the full 3 year Land Rover Assistance package as well.

OTR price for what I am buying is £40,50, so at £35k gettign 13% discount. No dealer could match.
Website states
Our Price Includes:
UK main dealer supplied
12 months Road Fund Licence
1st Registration Fee
Full manuracturer warranty
Manufacturer breakdown cover

That level of discount looks untouchable to me. Don't suppose they take trade ins though, or do they. If so they will probably be rock bottom. Bear this in mind too.

Sorry have been asked to re-assure that I have no involvement with the company I have mentioned. Genuinley I have not.
Had company cars for 15 years now and have just joined a new company and am opting ut. While the new company is giving me money monthyly towards a lease for the first time this means it is my money. I am very nervous about investing 35K let alone with an internet broker hence my questions here as to whether anyone has knowledge of using them.

Nothing to trade in as opting out of company car scheme. So not an issue. Local dealer willing to match internet price but their lease costs are horrendous. Can source my own lease so that may be a safer ? option though in fairness the carsandfinance crowd have been more helpful than the dealer.

£35k on a Disco?
You could get a decent car for that money, why on earth would you buy one of those dreadful things especially when they are liable for huge RFL, are expensive to run, have terrible reliability issues, dreadful to drive and are as attractive as a Bedford Rascal van.

Check:
HJ's week's best deals
autotrader - 08/08 Disco SE auto 3k miles £31150
drivetimeleasing - new Disco SE auto £32995

I love tree huggers. Don't blame me, blame the car designers for insiting that 99% of cars on the market now have as the middle seat in the second row an arm rest. We have 3 kids and 2 large dogs, we aslo needed a car wiht 2 seats folded in the boot. I drive 40,000 miles a year. Weighing all these up no car came anywhere near the Discovery. I also test drove one, it was the best of any car I test drove.
Thanks for the advice and you will be gald to hear I have ignored it and ordered a Discovery as it suits my needs.
