03 1.4TDCI revs - Boots09
Hi guys I drive a 03 1.4 TDCI fiesta lately iv noticed sometimes when im driving the car can suddenly rev up or loose power usually only slightly and at times it does this repeatedly giving the impression the car is jumping or shivering any ideas? Got it dianosed and dealer tols me it likely to be the pump or injectors is this true or could it be anythin more simple?

By my definition; saying that "It'll be the pump or injectors" is not a diagnosis - it's a vague guess!

That little lot could set you back £2500+ so a proper, accurate, assessment is needed. Ford dealers seem to know nothing about these Peugeot engines; so taking it to an accredited diesel specialist is a far better bet.

Checking for any air leaking into the feed line would be my first thought.

Ya thanks for that I actually brought it to a specialist yesterday havent heard from him as of yet!!
