'Finally i have checked our system (which is now correct, honestly!!) for costs regarding the Timing Belt and Accessory Belt to be fitted to your 182 and have been quoted All In £700.00, then there is you 10% discount which will then bring the total to £630.00.'

My BIL has sent me an email from his local Renault dealer (I quote above).
Is this really a realistic cost? About twice the cost of similar work on the Passat diesel.
And I thought that was expensive!

it does look about right for dealer labour and parts costs, sure ive read somewhere it's not the easiest of changes

Autodata quote 5.2 hours to do job & we sell a kit for £156+vat (RRP) so at main dealer rates with the vat it does seem about right.
