Will this be Phaeton Junior that won't sell - Pendlebury
Personally I cannot see the point in this car - have a look at 4car.com - another very expensive Passat with a few curves to differentiate it - they are not too kind about the reliability and quality either.
Why are they bothering - surley they are starting to compete with the A4.
And in the markets that are driven by the badge snobs (UK & Europe) - they are onto a loser with this.
And it will never sell in the markets that are driven by reliability and service (Asia and the USA).
I just can't see it working persoanlly.

I know what you mean ... but I still think the Merc CS curvy saloons look ace, and the Passat CC looks good too!
