If anyone reading this has a CZC let me know if the following is normal :
When I first start the car up, a blue warning light comes up and stays on until the car usually warms up. I notice there is no temperature gauge and maybe this has something to do with it....? Cant see any mention of it in the manual, however it does mention warning lights which makes me wonder whether this should not be happening?
Thanks : )

I would bet my bottom dollar, in lieu of a temp gauge, it is the cold water temp indicator... Just a guess, mind. Try your manual again.

the blue light is the low temperture warning light its nothing to worry about unless it doesnt go off after a couple of miles

Sorry Welshlad - only just noticed your question! I went for the blue - I've got a thing for blue cars!!!
I've just been to the petrol station to fill her up and had a couple admiring my car - he gave me he thumbs up!!! I felt like giving him the thumbs down!!
It goes into the garage tomorrow - I really hope they find the leak and able to rectify it - but I have a strange feeling they won't be able to fix it - almost certain now it has something to do with the vibration whilst driving - as sometimes it leaks and othertimes it doesn't - very odd but obviously not right. I'll be in touch !!
How is your car going - still happy? Do you think its good on fuel?

im really happy with my car i keep finding excuses to drive places just to get behind the wheel.
ive done 600 miles on a tank and a half so its not to bad as far as fuel goes my last car i would have been on the 3rd tank by now so im saving a few quid just wish it would stop raining long enough to get the roof down for a decent time.
i had a guy and his family having a look the other day in a car park he loved it (they didnt know it was mine at the time) but the young boy hated it, i had to muster all my self control not to 'accidently' run him down as i was leaving :-)

Thats not bad going then on a tank and a half. I have only done 550 miles in mine (had it since late december) but mainly because it spends most of its time in the garage being fixed!! No - we have two cars in the family and if we go out as a family we use my husbands because its a family car (unlike ours!) therefore mine is mainly used for me to potter around in - shopping/gym and basically running the kids around to mates houses or different activities. Haven't been on any long journeys yet so cant really comment on the fuel just yet - doesn't seem to be too bad round the town though.
I love the shape of the car - I didnt choose it because it was a cabriolet - (that was just a bonus) but I just loved the shape of it - although I know one review I read it said "like Page 3 of The Sun, it looks a lot better topless!"
The other thing I like is that they are not common - I have only seen one other in my area and I have been up and down the country a fair bit recently and havent seen any on the roads.
Fingers crossed for the weather being nice for you soon!

i livein a fairly rural area 8 miles from the nearest town so its a trip down the A55 either way to get anywhere so im almost always driving at 70 so that helps with getting the fuel consumption down a bit (not alot of stopping and starting)
