Re April fools day jokes,

I was hoping Webmaster (who`s cool, third person impartiality I`m attracted to ;) would weigh in with something, or HJ Publisher perhaps with something special, this time for the ancient male DIY motorist. (To balance the recent special offer for females;)

A free `Violet blue` graduated key fob perhaps that could be used to assess the varicose veins and be worn as a `dog tag` to help detect hypothermia setting in while servicing the car on the drive in cold weather. ;)

(All the above refers only to me so no gender or age discrimination;)

Finally, Taco Bell in the USA also did a great one, and I love the response from the Government:
The Taco Liberty Bell was an April Fool's Day joke played by fast food restaurant chain Taco Bell. On April 1, 1996, Taco Bell took out a full-page advertisement in seven leading U.S. newspapers including The New York Times announcing that they had purchased the Liberty Bell to "reduce the country's debt" and renamed it the "Taco Liberty Bell". Thousands of people protested before it was revealed at noon April 1 that the sale was a hoax

White House Press Secretary Mike McCurry responded that the federal government was also "selling the Lincoln Memorial to Ford Motor Co. and renaming it the Lincoln-Mercury Memorial"

I saw that BMW ad in the Times yesterday, and couldn't work out which was the April Fool - The dog wee bit, or the shape of that new BMW (X6?).

Goodness me, that is one hideous car!!
