Not seen one on the road yet except for local dealer demo - anyone bought one or know someone who has? Idle curiosity :)

They're strangely invisible and anonymous, an attractive feature IMFFHO...

Yes, its a feature of all Subarus of late and its why most of my old money customers like them as even the 3.0 doesnt look like much, so it doesnt show off any wealth,

Seen two on the road so far, and have been hugely unimpressed by them - they seem to tread the line betwwen ugly and anonymous, wobbling either way depending on the viewing angle. Bulky and ungainly would sum it up for me, and the hot versions look all the more try-hard for it.

Subaru's are rarely pretty - the last Impreza and the ones before were never good looking and often ugly, but thats not why you buy one.

When I first saw pictures of them I didn't think they looked much. But then last month we were in Switzerland where they sell well (where 4x4 is a daily assistance to driving), and I think they look OK. Certainly better than the Pug 308 - how confused is the styling on those?!
It would have to be a diesel auto for me though - not yet available.

I like the look of the STi, cheap too for the performance. It'll be interesting to see what the Prodrive version is like. Underwhelmed by the cooking versions though.

I can't say I warm to the looks of it, and I quite liked the old one. I was also surprised to see it put in a slower track time (on 5th Gear) to the latest Golf, but I suppose that could have been down to something like tyres.
If you crave anonymity, I should think the saloon Legacy is the thing. Almost in my (banger) price range, too!
