One of HJ's contributors in the paper said this was a good way to sell.
Anyone else with any experience especially at Blackbushe?
|
I went to Blackbushe once to buy a car and I was amazed at the prices they were going for. I liked a VW Bora TDi and he fetched £500 more than my maximum and it was bought by a trader. Most of the cars which came in the auction found a buyer!

Made enquiries with regard to using this service at BCA Newcastle. They were very helpful, providing me with all the information I required.
If the car sells for anything under £999 the charge for the sale is £110 + VAT
Anything over £1000 and the charge is £160 + VAT.
BCA said they would give the car a wash and vacuum. In the event the car did not sell after being entered 3 times the charge is £50 + VAT.
You need to take along the V5 logbook, MOT certificate and any service history.
I reckoned my old Mondeo was woth maybe £1000 tops, probably less, BCA said it was worth between £800 and £900.
In the end I part exchanged it. I decided the financial benefits of Sure-sell to me would have been marginal.
Hope this helps.

They never cleaned my Brother-in-laws car that I put through for him.

I must admit I was a bit sceptical if they would have cleaned it. And mine definitly needed a clean...
