I need a set of car seat covers for my wifes new (to her) 2006 five door Polo 1.4tdi.
Please can anyone recommend a set - plain and simple machine wasahble would be good. Just to keep the kids food and drink off the seats.

steve - make sure you do not fit aftermarket front seat covers to the 2 front seats if they have airbags built into the side of the seats.
To overcome this problem we bought a couple of seat back protectors for the front seats - they only cover the back and laid an old but colourful full size beach towel under the kids seats on the back - it did the job and as it was covered in their favourite disney princesses it brightened up an otherwise dull interior.
Just be careful about covering any seats that have airbags though.
