isn't the Peel P50 the one Clarkson drove into and around a BBC Building once (including going up in the lift)...

But iIf the emissions are not recognised then I bet it cannot be exempt.

This is indeed the car Top Gear had fun with. If you missed it do look out for it on Dave - even if you don't like Top Gear it is still worth a look.

Actually it is exempt because you don?t have to pay if the car is a tricyle less than a metre wide and less than two metres long. So this mean NO exemption for:

Reliant Robin
BMW Isetta
Heinkel Trojan
Piaggio Ape
Peel Trident

So they did try to include these but the P50 is okay but the Trident is not. The only other one exempt apparently is the Brütsch Mopetta (never heard of it!):
