Might be manufactured by Indians...:-)
By the way, I have Republic of China manufactured tyres on my car at present - given no problems, very quiet whatever the road surface and, I'm assured by two local dealers, that of the hundreds of these tyres they have sold, they have had no customer problems after fitment.

Did not have any qualms about my ROC made Interstate IST tyres on the Passat.
Price has now shot up so they are not as competitive with more familiar brand names.
|
My last Goodyear tyres were Chinese, the current Goodyear Excellence are Made in South Africa, Stompy Mackenzie must be spinning in his grave!
|
What a lousy name for a tyre - it suggest they're bald along each side!

If my knowledge of 80's coiffure for the crusty-about-town is correct, it's a 'Mohican' you're referring to there. But as you say, heap bad name anyway.

My son (29) still has one of those haircuts on occasion and he and I have always known it as a 'Mohawk', not a Mohican. I've never had one of these haircuts, so I'm not sure where he gets it from.
In the films, I think the good guys were the Mohicans, and the baddies were the Mohawks, with interesting haircuts as above.
{And now back to motoring please! DD}
