I have very recently had a system called omni dream? installed.
My query is, whilst driving on gas the gas symbol is lit. but my petrol gauge is showing petrol consumption. low petrol light is on.
I have used 3 gallons of petrol in 7 days, trip showing 72 miles.
I can hear the changeover occur.
Are my expectations too high, I was anticipating using very little fuel or is there a problem?
My vehicle has less than 500 miles on the clock.

What is an "Omni dream?" Is it an LPG system? Do you mean that it's used 3 gallons of gas - or petrol?

i would assume that its a lpg conversion and as such if you are turned on to gas there should be zero petrol consumption i would read the instructions again to make sure and if still unsure return to the fitter for further guidance/investigation

Well that sort of narrows down how old it is. Now how about giving a clue as to the engine details ----> points towards the sticky requests, and ignored message under the subject header asking for these when you composed your question ;o)
