1997 1.6 no reverse lights - adam f
The reverse lights do not come when the reverse gear is selected. Bulbs and fuses are fine. Any ideas

Find it and bridge the wires to see.

Its on the gearbox casing somewhere. If you can't spot it by peering under the bonnet, get a Haynes' Manual for the car or you might find one in t'local library.

I have a haynes manual but it does not give the location.

It's near the front/top of the gearbox - in the area of the clutch cable/fork, behind the bottom hose.
