I've just glanced at the Highways Agency website and see that the weather stations are reporting a chilly -275 degrees. And I always thought you couldn't get lower than 273 degrees. Check the wind speed out as well.

At least theres no snow or rain :)
I'm still trying to get my head round how the wind blows backwards, or maybe the wind sucks up north?.....

-273.15 is theoretically possible (absolute zero) but can it be colder with wind chill factor added?
|

I don't know what software they are using, but at least one "weather computer" used for on screen graphic display puts silly numbers in by default if no values are entered.

or for real weather try - edmontontrafficcams.com This week it has been -20 daytime and -30 nights, with windchill it has felt like -40 during the day. They have had plenty of snow as well but the traffic hasn't stopped flowing. My friend keeps her car outside too!

No wind at absolute zero. In fact no nothing - everything stops - no atoms move, not a micron ( Straight anwser to a tongue-in-check question).

at -275 degrees, hell will freeze over, then Scotland will stand a chance of winning the World Cup!
