Nissan Primera (1990 - 1996) - 1994 - rear brake noise

1994 - rear brake noise - Ramesh M
I have a 94 Nissan Primera. From the past 2/3 days, I noticed that it makes an annoying noise (Like a wind before a storm) right at the end of the braking zone, whenever I brake. I can feel that the noise is clearly coming from the rear tyres/brakes. Recently we have changed the brake pipes and am not sure if that had any impact on this. This sound comes up only when I brake to stop the car in traffic, otherwise its quiet and perfect on motorways etc.

Any ideas on what is going wrong ?

Jack each wheel up and spin any noises? same again get sombody to press the brake or pull hand brake any noises?

To change the brake pipes if it was the rear you will have to bleed the rear cylinders or rear caliper piston whichever fitted you may have caught the back plate etc? good luck
