mate has a cavalier the is very hard to start and when it does it keeps dying out and loosing power.
we tried heater plugs and diesel filter, no good then changed fuel lines and diesel tank still no good. last resort was to change engine and its still doing the exact same.

were now thinking it mite be to do with the wiring but not sure...

if any one knows of this problem and how to solve it plz reply

Checked the valve clearances recently? Common problem with these Isuzu engines in that the valves need reshimming from time to time.

inlets should be 0.15mm, and exhausts should be 0.25mm, IIRC.
