Does anyone remember the yellow Lyons cakes sign that was nailed to a tree next to the M62, just before the Boothferry bridge, heading eastbound?
We used to see it when motoring in that direction a long time ago and now the tree is quite deteriorated as a result of the nails.
When did that sign first appear? It became a landmark in its own right I think.
Who remembers it and what were you driving at the time?
Regards
