My indicator makes the right noise when I indicate right but the lit arrow on dash (and the actual lights) don't always work.

Indicating left works fine and the hazards work fine. I take it the most likely culprit is the indicator switch itself, especially considering the Hazards works the dash arrow and exterior lights every time.

Had a look at the indicator stalk which was properly connected, when taken apart, the contacts looked okay, so replaced the stalk unit and it works fine now.
