1997 air bag light - how do I get it turned off? - djdamo
hi can any help my air bag light has come on is it a fuse could of gone i have no manual foor car can i get light to go out without costly trips to car mechanics.

it is 1997 r reg saloon and just drivers airbag, its a pain light on

i cant afford garage trip does any one know how to get light off as i dont have book for it to work out if its just a fuse?

Only getting the code read and fixing the fault will put it out.

Highly unlikely to be a fuse.

the light only came on as i took a fuse out and put it back in as in killed all the power only then i noticed it had come on

You've probably set a "low supply voltage" code. The only way to get rid of it, is to plug in a suitable scanner and erase it.

Airbag will have to be reset, fault code and take care as airbag will not deploy while light is on. Regards

ok cheers for that , have left poss battery lead on24hrs so who knows when attach fingers crossed if not have go arage.
