96, clunks from back end - stokie
My 1996 A4 (210k miles) emits clunks from the back end.
When changing direction or coming off a speedbump, depending on the direction I get a clunk from driver's side or passenger side.

The sound is fairly high pitched, sounds almost like a spring going back into place but hitting the body.

Has been doing this as long as I've owned it (3 years) has passed MOTs in that time (so I don't *think* the axle bushes are shot), and the back shocks were new 2 years ago.

Can anyone pinpoint which components to suspect?

Thanks for any advice. Happy New Year to BR'ers

96, clunks from back end - adverse camber
springs? bushes? exhaust bracket?
