I took delivery of a new Fox in May 2006.
It is a 1.2 litre Urban Fox in the appropriate fox colour i.e. red.
So far it has covered 11,000 miles (Dec 07).
It has been very reliable so far with the only defects:-
1. Key fob central-locking not functioning properly - under-dashboard unit replaced.
2. Digital Odometer/Clock occasionally loses its figures - but so far they have always
re-appeared.
3. Nearside electric window very slow - binding in runners ?
Overall:-
Delightful to drive with sweet 1.2 engine and gearbox.
Good visibility from high driving seat (except for "A" pillars).
Excellent room for tall folk in the back.
Good headlights.
Good ride and safe handling.
So far excellent cheap motoring for town and country use.

Glad you're enjoying it... personally I'd feel exposed in a car that small & light. Well done for getting a proper fox colour though, my GF would approve!

I am amazed that you consider the faults on your new car to be acceptable, surley on a car so new there should be no faults, as is the case with most Japanese cars.
My wife took delivery of a 1.2 Urban Foxe in Feb' 2006 and to date has had to return the car to the main dealer on 5 seperate occasions.
1) Horn not working. repaired
2) Corrosion on retaining screw on off side door pillar.Repaired
3) Internal locks refusing to work.New unit fitted but problem with keys, new keys required
4) Wiper blade working loose. replaced
6) Lights on rev' counter and fuel guage not working. New Dash unit fitted
7) Window switches faulty.New switches fitted
8) Interior light switch faulty.
New switch fitted.
But apart from these "MINOR" issues it runs well

I have to agree with foxed in that I find it strange you think your car has been reliable after having the faults you listed.
At what point do you think a car is unreliable ?
There again I suppose it is that type of approach that keeps the european brands alive.
Having said that - I'm glad your enjoying it.

I'd be put off by the MPG figures, 20% worse than many in class and dead slow 0-62 at 17.5 seconds
