Noticed over the last few days that there are a large amount of VW golfs being stored in a large open compound in South St Glasgow just a cross from yarrows ship builders. All seem to be pre-registered. May be some good deals on the way.

I was at Immingham and Grimsby ports on Tuesday where I saw thousands of cars being loaded, unloaded and stored - most cars entering/leaving from the near continent go through the east coats ports.
One field just outside Immingham was stuffed with various brand new Fords including hundreds of the last model of Mondeos - are they still being made?

Yes it is near Arnold's Machargs showroom it is also near Arnolds VW dealer in crow road.

The benefit I think will be that it will be easier for cars entering and leaving the SECC. They are also meant to be moving the transport museum from Kelvin Hall to the area where the old warehouses used to be. They really want to design a better slip road on to the M8 for going east bound as it is a total nightmare.

True never thought of the SECC though last time I was there, the queues were so bad getting out the car park that I just drove up and over the kerbs as I couldn't be bothered waiting any more!
Agreed re Eastbound onto the M8, one single lane that everyone queue jumps to get to causing mayhem.
