Fuel filter and biodiesel - hamsterchris
I am just starting to introduce small amounts of "biodiesel" (retail quality recycled chip fat - not DIY) and want to keep an eye on the fuel filter (as I understand due to increased solvent capabillities of biodiesel I may need to change it after a few K) before I start putting it in greater quantities, hence 2 questions
1) Has anyone had any problems with running on biodiesel that I should look out for
2) Where is fuel filter and is it easy to access with limited tools

Might help if you mention what engine you have, and also age of car.

I wouldn't use it in any derv engine in the Vectra, it states in my 2.0dti handbook to not use biodiesel as it can harm the pump.
