Dunno about world's fastest - Bristol Fighter definitely belongs in there somewhere but doesn't figure - but the world's scariest weren't at all scary. Indeed some of them were obviously excellent.

I can't see that they're too far out with the list, apart from the Ariel Atom which is included because of its ability to maintain a high average speed.
Given that the Veyron's 252 mph and McLaren F1's 231 mph are widely quoted bar-room facts, I can't dispute the others.
But, hey! The speed limit's 70 mph and we should all be driving diesels anyway!
Which brings me to the LeMans- winning Audi R8 V10 diesel - how long before they do a roadgoing superdiesel???
