Petrol Vauxhalls built from September 2000 are EOBD/OBD2 compliant, from the introduction of Znnxx engines. As cars with Xnnxx engines were still being sold in 2001, yours could be either, dependent on the engine code. Diesel Vauxhalls weren't compliant until about 2004.
On the Astra, on which Zafira is based, the diagnostic socket is under a trim panel below the handrake handle - yours may be in a similar position.
