Braodly agree with Nsar "would be a very inefficient ad medium for this audience".
Though I reckon there is room for a bike manufacturer to back road safety campaigns on TV such as "Think Bike!", could be a good corporate approach, after all they all have other interests - cars, consumer electronics, marine, ATV, musical instruments, garden machinery etc, they would be seen to be responsible by the broader audience and would be seen to be educating the motorist thus ingratiating themselves with bikers.

I've definitely seen a pretty intimidating Harley Davidson one, but that might have been at the cinema rather than on TV.
ETA: Here it is, and I'm still not sure where I've seen it before. My views on bikes aside it's a case study in branding... notice how it doesn't mention the bike once!
