High diesel price - can anyone match/beat? - jc2
Saw Diesel for 118.9/litre in Norfolk yesterday-anyone seen higher??

Incredible! Here in Yorkshire just off the M1, Shell diesel extra jumped from 98.9p to 102.9p in a week. I thought that was bad enough.

Is that one of the higher priced blends such as ultimate or V power?

I paid 107.9 at a Total garage in Wakefield the other day for normal diesel.

118.9 is just mad. Fuel protests here we come!

BP garage around the corner from my place is selling standard diesel for 107.9 but I got the car filled up from Shell today and they're selling standard diesel for 104.9 and VPower for 110.9 so 118.9 for standard diesel is just ripoff.

Agree Cardew - the good folk of the Scottish Isles probably wonder what all the fuss is about over £1 a litre. I remember seeing it at high 90ps over 10 years ago in a remote station on Skye.

Needless to say the price was nowhere to be seen, until you got to the pump!

South Shropshire area.

I tend to fill up nearer the office where it is (slightly) more reasonable at 104.

I paid 1.15 per litre of diesel on Saturday. It was euros in Boulogne.
