It's not just Toyota either - Honda Accord mods - Pendlebury
Having just had a dig at Toyota for their inability to get it right first time even with a car like the Corolla, I also want to point out a mod that was recently done FOC during the 2 year service of my Accord. There is a mod that they conduct on the front headlamps to stop them misting up/condensing. So to all you Accord owners - best make sure you have it done.

When I bought mine at three years old I got a two year parts and labour warranty from the Honda dealer .

The mod had not been done and the misting was pretty obvious. I knew it should have been and I complained to the Main Dealer who said it was too late for the mod
( requiring some new clips ) and it would not cure the problem.

They photographed the misted headlights and sent off to Toyotaa who authorised two replacement headlights which were fitted free of charge. Must have been at least £600 worth .

I must have been drunk when I posted yesterday .....

Should have read - sent off to Honda ( not Toyota ) who authorised replacements.


Fairly typical of Honda committment to customer service though.

i was drunk and dont remember reading it ;-)

bet those headlights cost £50 in real money before everyman and his dog adds a bit

i take it silica gell wouldnt work then
