Comes up on MID as Nova Kit Car but that's nothing to do with Vauxhall Nova.

returns that it is a VW! and that they hold further information about for payment of a a fee.


I should have worked out that its aircooled VW based if you look at the exhaust set up.

looks about right! Nova mk1

At one time you could keep the original registration from the donor vehicle, but some time (before 1987) I think they changed the rules about requiring a Q plate. Certainly I had a Q on my home built Mini Scamp in 1988, altho I drove it to MoT test centre on its old plates before applying for the new registartion.

iirc the nova kit car thing featured in the film Condorman, starring Michael Crawford.

awful rubbish that was abusive on the eyes. The film was pretty bad too.
