Heated seat problem - Paul Robinson
Now it's gone cold, I discover that the passenger heated seat, is not getting very warm. It has two heat settings and on maximum doesn't get nearly as hot as it has in the past. The drivers seat is heating fine.

Can anyone offer advice please?

The heating wires embedded in the seats are prone to fracture. Maybe the higher setting one has failed.

A good man with a multimeter should be able to check - replacing them is an awful job.

95+% of the population have not got heated seats and they survive.

Depending on the age of the car a visit to the scrappy might be worth considering - if heated seats are that important
