Mis-shapes - AlanGowdy
I think I've come across a motoring equivalent of the chocolate mis-shape, whereby Cadbury's etc will flog off product cheaply other than through their normal outlets and often in unmarked bags when it does not quite fit the intended specification.

I rented a Peugeot 107 recently and it was painted in Citroen's Damas blue. I assume this was a computer glitch or human error on their common production line and perhaps the rental company got it cheap as a result.

I used to work at the Import centre at Sheerness and the most common was the old 106 with Citroen badges and Peugeot Interior ..very common.

Rental Company unlikely to be any the wiser interesting to see the chassis data tag or the paint sticker in theroy it easier for a Citroen in this case to become a Peugeot not the other way round.

Could be.

When I was a callow youth working at Ford I put test data through a system resulting in an order for 100 purple transits.

Next morning there was a message from the factory asking for confirmation of the order details. I've always wondered what would have happened if it hadnt been such an outlandish order that it attracted attention.

I think 107's are mis-shapes whatever the colour.

Peugeot 107's come in Antigua Blue which for Citroen C1 is Damas Blue. A quick check of the respective websites will tell you.

Not so - Antigua blue is a much lighter shade than Damas blue
