Weber carbs...any discount sellers? - steveo3002
im almost at the point where i want to sling my Pierburg and purchase a weber convo

trouble is they're £300 and ebay is sparse for good complete used ones

anyone recommended a outlet that does good prices ...any ideas plz

No doubt you tried a quick google steveo. Northampton Motorsport seemed to have most things, but fastroadcars.co.uk seemed to offer cut prices. Came up about third in the first page of the basic Google.

Replacement new carbs were never cheap, even before the days of widespread fuel injection. You'd think that now they'd become obsolescent that prices would fall dramatically. Whilst this might be true of more humble applications, there's still the 'classic community' out there - only too keen to acquire a new quad DCOE setup! For the more exotic carb types, prices remain high.

Ebay is still worth pursuing, but it can be frustrating waiting for one to come up when you want it NOW!

Once upon a time Chris Montague Craburetors in Finchley Road London were Weber and Delorto specialists. Don't know if they are still tradeing but the sign was still on the building a couple of years back.
