Can anyone tell me is a diesel compression test done through the glow plug holes or through the injector holes?

Or can you do it in either according to what access you prefer?
I suppose doing it in the GP holes means you dont have to get all messy with the fuel lines, so is glow plug holes the preferred option for that reason. and you only use injector holes if you have to.

It's usually done via a glowplug hole using a properly made fitting which registers with the taper seat. The compression figures are high - so a rubber cone won't do. Ensure that the fuel system is set to zero delivery whilst you make the test..... (otherwise, off it goes and so does your tester).
