My \'97 Mondeo\'s central locking has suddenly decided not to double lock, (ie with indicators flashing) either with the key or the remote. Any ideas please?

same thing as just happened to my mondeo, no double locking, no alarm. i have remade the orange wire to the three wire connection in the drivers footwell as described in \'mirez.co.uk\' mondeo alarm pages. still no joy. as your trouble started so long ago did you found the cause of your trouble. my mondeo is not remote locking (key only)
