Did anyone else see the BBC lunchtime news item on this subject?
They're driverless pods, and emphasis was placed on safety, unfortunately one of the pods appeared to have clear evidence of rear impact damage!

i watched it on the early morning news (east midlands) the concept is good but could you really see it happen in real life, the scum bags would soon have them rubber side up,graffited and burnt out

Why not go the whole hog and just walk, it would get you there in less time.Those things seemed to be doing Oooooh at least 3 miles an hour !
Anyway,you would never get one as the chavs and thugs would have a ball, hogging them with their spliffs and cans of cider !
