1998 Mondeo - power steering leak

1998 Mondeo - power steering leak - bazzab22000
i have a 1998 diesel mondeo which has a power steering leak, thing is it appears to be leaking from where the radiator is. any ideas what it thats leaking and any solutions?

Funny how you can set your calendar by these things - the PAS cooler went last year on my '97 Mondeo. It was characterised by a small loss of fluid level at the reservoir, and dust had started to collect and congeal on the radiator fins and the PAS cooler fins where the fluid had wept out. If someone is able to find the thread, it has been discussed on here.

The cost at my local indie was £65.79 for new pipe, coolant sensor and PAS oil and £55 for labour (all plus vat). Total came to £146.

I still have the info ( if required) on removing the front bumper.
