Mechanic - Stockport - Dan29

Hi all

Does anyone know of (or is) a mechanic in the Stockport area who'd be willing to go and inspect an old-style Mini that I've seen for sale and phone me with a condition report?

I can't get there in the next few days and the only other alternative I can think of is the (pricey) RAC inspection service. Open to any other suggestions though!

You could try and ask Dave Arnitt at the Citroen Repair Centre in Reddish (it's in the good garages section of the Directories on this site). Our son has used them a lot for repairs as his friend's dad also works there.

I know they are quite busy at the moment (son's 306 poorly there and likely to be scrapped as uneconomical to get it through an MOT) but maybe worth a shot.
