Does any one know of a way of exchanging worn out or broken Snap On tools by post? I emailed Snap On UK, and they referred me to my local Snap On man, but he's quite elusive - mostly, I suspect, because I've never bought any new tools from him as I've accumulated most of my collection through ebay.
Any ideas?

No idea. AFAIK all Snap-On sales are done via the man-in-van. The vans usually turn up at the same place, same day, each week. So it will be a question of catching the guy. He should do an exchange though, it won't cost him anything.
Could you post it back to the place you bought it from?

I bought most of them from people in the US, who aren't themselves Snap On dealers. Over here there's a sort of an odd thing where some Snap On men will exchange them, but others just refuse point blank because I didn't buy them new from them, or they pressure you into buying something new to make it worth their while. It would be nice just to be able to post them some where and have them changed...Oh well, back to looking out for the Snap On man!

In Essex, there was(and may still be)a Snap-on warehouse in the area(Basildon). We could buy and collect from there.
