'97 Ford Escort Wishbone Design. - MBRTeamH
Can anyone confirm whether or not Ford changed the design of the wishbones for the Ford Escort in 1997? Some people say yes some say no and that it has been the same design since 1990. I have a 1998 escort and wonder if I have pre-1997 wishbones.

The FWD Escort only had wishbones on the rear suspension and they stopped those at 95.5MY. except on the van.

In fact,every Escort ever made(even the 100e one) had McPherson struts as front suspension including Mk.I/II.
