VW ad (contains swearing..) - P.Mason {P}
I came across this in the 'humour' section of a CRX owners' website- hope it gets past the moderators!

Hmm.

I've made the link non-clickable - be aware there is a big fat swear word in large font on the top of the page if you're going to view in view of bosses!

"in view of bosses"

What happened to the 'boss' key that some programs used to contain? I remember games that instantly put a convincing-looking spreadsheet page up on the screen when you pressed the right key. That was in pre-Windows days, of course, when computers could be relied on to respond immediately...

We use 'boswelox' as the synonym in our house, which also contains an implied nose-thumbing at marketing hype. Enjoyed the clip, though.

As I understand it the ad was banned, not becuase of the swearing but because it pictures a child reaching for something above their heads (the biscuit box)!

Also, does putting petrol in a VW diesel mean more then blx, more like several hundred £££££ worth of blx!

Very good advert. Think I may have seen it one of those 100 best advert type shows or something.......

The really funny thing about this, is that you always know you have diesel in your VW, you cant mistake it for a petrol.

"because it pictures a child reaching for something above their heads"

Which, of course, they would never think of doing if they hadn't seen it on TV...

PoloGirl's attentions have made it impossible for me to use the link. Whatever I do I can't see this ad. Pity because I loved the suicide bomber one.

Lud, highlight the link by clicking and dragging the mouse cursor right across it. Now press Ctrl+c keys on your keyboard (copy command). Goto the url address bar of your web browser, and paste in (ctrl+v) the link that you've just copied and add http:// to the start of it. Finally press the enter key.
