Usually you can reset these with variuos buttons, how do you reset it on a 2002 Passat TDi. Thanks Peter

Hi Peter I believe you have to turn the trip meter reset button to the right, turn the ignition on and hold for 10 seconds but I'm not sure.
Give it a go, worst that happens is you reset the trip meter!

seems your nearly right mss1tw :-)
my book says but no idea if right-------------
press and hold the button on the right (on clocks)
switch ignition on
the word sevice should appear in trip display
release right button
turn the button on the left clockwise to reset the display
switch ignition off
job done?
