Just been having a look at Motorpoint stock,like you do,and came across a couple of delivery mileage 07 Primeras for 7999GBP,that is cheapo motoring,shame i dont have a customer for 'a nice family type car for about 10k' at the moment.

Just told my Dad as hes after spending that amount on a second hand Vectra. He didnot sound keen however.

8 grands worth of used Vectra against a new Primera,seems loke a no brainer to me,if was a new Vectra for 8k i would still choose the Nissan,and ugly? well there are some strange looking cars out there,Seat Altea springs to mind,but good looking/ugly,who knows best?

Bought a brand new Primera from Trade Sales, Slough 4 years ago, 10 grand.
Always thought it was a handsome motor. (Saloon): Hatchback is an ugly car, though.
Only just sold it: Never missed a beat.
Excellent car.
Absolute bargain at 8k, today, I would say.
If you're in the market for a new car, go for it.

I'm sure they're fine for pootling about but they do look like pregnant sharks. Amazing considering the clean design of the former model that everyone actually liked. This model doesn't look nearly so light, agile or well-balanced so I would be willing to bet money that it isn't.

But not a Vauxhall, and that has to count for something.
I very nearly bought one of these about 18 months ago, and they were 8 grand new back then as well. It'll be a 1.8 since they don't do the 1.6s any more.
Have to say though that the older model (which I have now) was much better looking, and a damn sight more reliable as well (build quality took a tumble when that French lot took over).
