A few of us thought we would go to the British GP Friday practice. Some years ago you just turned up on the Friday but we decided to call as a precaution. First thing we noticed was that Siverstone has one of those money making '0870' numbers! Then we found you could only buy family tickets and extra ones for additional children, but none for additional adults. As a child is classified as 12 and under we would have been paying for 5 children that would not be there. A family ticket would have also been required for one adult. So we are not going! Rip off Britain again me thinks!!! Interested to know other people's thoughts.

You should have taken the family to Silverstone last week. £10 each. Most of the teams running, most of the top drivers turned up, on one of the three days, and you got to walk in the pit lane and gaze into the windows of the motorhomes.

Twas a good day out.

these 0870 nos are a rip off, any they keep you on hold.

have you been on www DOT saynoto0870.com/companysearch.php

then type in silverstone, it brings u a few geog numbers which are much cheaper

in fact just been on the silverstone website

the 1st number they are quoting is 0870 4588300, the equivalent on saynoto0870 is 01327 850211- bookings


the 2nd number they are quoting is 0870 4588270 the equivalent on saynoto0870 is 01327 320280- reception
