Try Halfords Professional series.. good quality.
Seconded.
Same goes for their sockets and ratchet handles. I have a Halfords ratchet handle that must be a good 10yrs old and has been subjected to serious abuse. Still works perfectly. Bought a rebuild kit with it, and it's still in its blister pack.
Cheers

The Halfords ones with swivel head are very useful - around £12 IIRC.

brown brothers as in part of the unipart group of companies
partco are the same team
this offer might be limited to my branch only milky but the £15 i quoted is for all of them but with no 12mm
they are good quality and a lot thinner than the lazer ones i have that cost £18 each
hope this helps

thanks bb , il have a butchers online to locate a shop near me

just a thought , 12mm cant say ive ever needed one any way, it seems to be 13mm in most cases and the occasional 10mm , then 15,17 and blah blah up to 28,30mm for hub (spindle carrier) nuts
The only 12mm af I've come across was on an m7 threaded bolt. Citroen, of course.
12mm is very common size on many Japanese cars. Used one yesterday in fact (ARB bush clamps on a Mitsubishi).
must have been a corroded 13mm then on a jap motor, if its been attacked by road salt and stuff on an anti-roll bar
Yes, I lost my combination 12mm one and missed it badly working on my jap car and bikes. I didn't realise how common it was till I didn't have it!.
Two types available(both include 12mm)in the Westfalia book.
plenty of 12 mm (not corroded 13's) on my Toyota

I have a full set of cranked Britools ones, they are great, but I have heard very good things about the Halfords set too........and some are on offer:
tinyurl.com/yr43sb {Link to www.halfords.com shortened to restore page width back to normal - DD}
You could also go to screwfix on freemans common and take to look at theirs:
www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/pro.jsp?cId=A250787&t...2
And then there is good old MachineMart off Melton Raod...they do a sets as well:
www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/categories/search/spann...2
If you can not find a set out of these three then God help you:

I have a Halfords one for the middle top cam cover bolt (12mm?) on a Peugoet 106 diesel.. mounted in a most difficult position . PSA do have an ability to design things so access is appalling to an essential service item.
(Needless to say it was immovable so I cut the cover around it and bodged it all back together agin with no problems.. suggesting the deisgn has a superfluous bolt!)
