Reading threads - flat or threaded? - Bill Payer
How do most people read the threads in this forum - flat or threaded?

I view them flat, and the manic post snipping that's currently going on makes the threads very hard to follow.

I tried viewing the threads threaded, but that means clicking on every individual post to read it, which is clearly untenable.

I read flat, and just check out the "new"

I do the same as TVM - view flat and scroll down to the posts with 'new'. Reading them threaded just doesn't work for me, I like to be able to scan the whole thread.

Threaded is a waste of time. Don't understand why there are two view types anyway. Should just be in chronological order like Invision, PHPBB, vBulletin, etc, etc, etc.

That's how I do it too - and without quoting the substantive part of the post that one is responding to, then the response often has no context.
